This is a bit of a rant, I absolutely despise passwords. You must enter a password for nearly everything anymore. I have a doctor appt and I have to fill out registration forms, password required. I have to fill out a password to order from a clothing store, vet, postal service, sign up for attending church, sign up for volunteering, checking medical records, credit cards, rebate cards, earning rewards points, having an account with youtube, facebook, netflix, amazon, and the list just goes on and on and on. Each of these requires a password. Not just any password, that would be too simple. It must always be more than 8 digits, include a number, a lowercase letter, uppercase letter, and a symbol. Now you must realize that for each account, it is suggested you have a different password. Because there are hundreds, it is impossible to remember them and I have a book just full of passwords. And then you have to have your own username and simple ones like your first name, last name, initials, are always used up so you must come up with some unique and creative username. This all gives me anxiety, especially when you go to your computer thinking your going to sign up for something or order something that should only take seconds. I feel the irritation building as I fill out all of this information, it make me crazy!! How do older people handle all this nonsense? Then after you have entered all the information they would like you to fill out 3 security questions. Now this is where you really get me! It is too much information. They want your street address where you first lived, the town where you were born, your mother's maiden name, the name of your elementary school, your first employer etc. This is so invasive and I feel as if I may as well give my social security number and bank account. Ugh! Someday they will probably just scan our eyeballs. Ha ha
