Mother's

A mother's love for her children is like no other. A mother shepherd's her children in the ways to walk. She wears many hats in her life as a nurse, teacher, bus driver, coach, and cook just to name a few. Mother's hurt when their children hurt and want to fix everything that is broken, whether it is physical or emotional. Our hearts hurt when they hurt. We want to see our children make good choices and follow the right path. Even if we know it is the wrong path or the difficult path, we support and love them through it. We are there for them when they come back and comfort them and encourage them when they need it. We like when they are happy and rejoice when they are find success. Mother's want the best for their children.
I have been so blessed to have not only one amazing mom, but two. My mother has been there for me through it all. She has been a shoulder to cry on and a huge supporter in every crazy endeavor I took on. She is kind and caring, crafty and creative, thoughtful and generous. She is such a blessing to my kids and family and so many others. My mother-in-law has also been so full of kindness and care. She goes out of her way for our family as well. She loves to bring us baked goods and cook meals. I feel so fortunate to have both my mothers so close. My kids have spent their lives growing up with Grandparents involved in everything they do. For that I am so grateful.
The love a mother has for her children is like the love our father God has for us. Is is a deep compassionate unending love.

I am going to include this paper that Jayden wrote in one of her college classes.
A Tribute to the Strong Women in My Life
By: Jayden Muench 11/19
My name is Jayden Muench and I come from a long line of strong, independent women. Women
who, when they set their mind to something, are unstoppable. Women who, when met with
adversity, face it head on. Women who work alongside men as equals. Women who raise babies.
Women who fight Battles. And Women who change the world.
My Great Grandma was a young mother. She had a baby, then triplets less than a year later. She
raised four babies with strength and grace. Times were tough. She made great sacrifices to keep
her kids fed.
My Grandma Karen faced much adversity. She came from little and made a life for herself. She
faced challenges head on, never scared of hard work. After she married my grandpa she worked
alongside the men taking care of livestock and doing farm work. All while raising babies, and
feeding the family. She has so much grit and grace, and continues to be the glue that holds the
family together.
My Grandma Connie has the biggest heart. Her love for others is felt by everyone who knows
her. Her unconditional support and love for her family is what holds the family together. She
married my grandpa, who was in the military. She showed fearlessness and strength as a young
wife, moving across the country to live near her husband while he served our country.
My Aunt Alice was the strongest woman I’ve ever known. She battled cancer for over 10 years.
Very few people knew what she was going through. She fought with grace, selflessly, and with a
smile on her face. Even when she was in pain, she used her strength to love, always thinking of
others. She never gave up, she fought to the end without fear or sadness. Just immense love,
faith, and strength.
My mom is superwoman. I have never met someone who handles so many different jobs and
does them with a smile. Farm wife is not a easy task. She keeps food on the table, and to all the
men working in the field. She is solely responsible for teaching and homeschooling my brothers,
so they have a great education that will prepare them for life. She is the most kind and thoughtful
person I know, always trying to do right, and grow her faith.
I was the little girl wearing a tutu, cowboy boots, and playing with toy tractors. I was never
taught I couldn’t do something because I was a girl. I fed cows alongside my dad, rode horses
with my mom, I loved toy trucks more then I liked dolls. I wore a princess crown, and spit on the
ground. I was the little girl raised by strong independent women. I was the little girl who was
told the sky’s the limit. I was the little girl who was taught never to be scared of challenges.
I am a strong woman because of the women who raised me. I am a woman who doesn’t fear the
future. I am a woman who prays when I’m feeling weak. I am a woman who doesn’t accept
defeat. I am so thankful for the women before me because I am unstoppable

This year for Mother's day I never left the house. Not because we couldn't, it was cold and windy and not much to do. Mark made a can of cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Jake wrote me a heartfelt card and Luke gave me his last minute handmade card. Jayden wrote me a letter and sent me a cute t-shirt in the mail. I asked the boys to attempt to make supper. They made beans and brats. Here is what the card from Jake read:
I honestly feel undeserving to have a mother like you, you are kind, patient, loving, sweet, and honest. To say that you are the best is an over used compliment. I believe that God gave me literally the best mother. Not many moms are as selfless as you, you go about your day and ask nothing in return, and you don't expect anything in return, but you are an inspiration to everyone, and I wish more people had your qualities, but that's what makes you special. OI try to be a good son, but sometimes I fall and you are always there to help me up. In this day and age marriage is a temporary thing, but i never worry about you and Dad, you guys were made for each other. We truly have a wonderful family. Thank you for all you do. Love you-Jake

Volleyball

Jake  went with Karen after school and to the field. My mom, Luke and I went to Jayden’s  Volleyball game in Coon Rapids.  They played 4 games all losses. They were not having a good serving night and that really hurt them.  Still enjoy watching them learn.

Treasures

In the morning we took 3 of our 4 cats to the vet for shots. The 4 th cat decided to wander this morning missing his appointment. On our way out, we passed a rummage sale and stopped. We got some major treasures for next to nothing. The church ladies were so fascinated with Jacob's interest in old radios and televisions. They just adored him and marked the prices way down and gave him some for free. We loaded up on kids books, got some board games, and a few other treasures. Jake ended up with a mini  television , an old radio and Polaroid camera. After lunch the boys went straight to the field. My friend Carolyn and her daughter Tabby came to ride horses. What started out to be a chilly day 45, turned out nice and sunny. We had coats on, but it was a great day to ride. We rode through our hay patch and along the waterway near the highway. It was a great way to spend the afternoon.

Dayton Fun Show

It has been cold and windy for the past week, highs of 45. Today the sun was shinning and it got up to 60. There was one final horse show for the season at the Dayton arena. We took Jayden and Jacob while Luke went with Grammer and Po and was supposed to come later. It was a fun show geared for practice and the kids. Jake did really well on Winnie, he rode in walk and trot, barrels, and poles. He did some loping. Jayden did pleasure, milk can, barrels, poles, and a jumping event. Her horse Tex really jumps high for the jump event. Down in the arena, there was'nt any wind and the sun came out. It made for a nice day.
