I have decided Jayden is a lot like a feather in the wind. She kind of floats wherever the wind takes her. I am trying to stand back and let her figure out her life and praying for lots of God's direction and wisdom in her life. I am hoping that she figures things out without a lot of craziness. I miss Jayden being here. After returning to Oklahoma, Jayden spent two nights at her roommate Morgan's home before heading south to Texas. I think we all know the real reason why she was so eager to go south. We knew she wanted to see Shark, but the fact that she went so soon confirms her intentions. Shark had been talking to her and asking her when she would come see him for weeks. I thought if he wanted to see her so bad, why not come to Iowa. For him to come to Iowa, it had been cold, even snow and everything is closed. It would not have been a fun visit. For Jayden to go visit him on a large ranch with a lake and temperatures staying in the upper 80's, who wouldn't want to go! She left on Monday the 20th, took both her horses and spent a whole week at the ranch in Brownwood Texas, home to Shark and his family. She got to know the whole family, stayed in his sisters room in their elaborate home. Jayden described it as out of this world and the pictures showed she was not exaggerating. It's like when we go on vacation to Florida and see the amazing mansions. Well, he lives in one and on a hunting ranch with many acres.
The first night there and most nights, they went to the lake to jet ski! How fun is that!?
It was like she was on vacation, while the rest of the world is in a pandemic.

Then it was back to Alva for a few days while Shark was racing in the sand dunes with his family. Then she went back to Shark's to spend another week. She wants to be where she can have fun and is around people. Each of these trips back and forth here and there include a trailer with her horses. They are her children and they go where she goes. Most of her time at the ranch was spent sitting in the shop all day watching the guys work. Then she went back to stay with Morgan near OK city only to discover she would be gone for the whole week. Morgan's gravel road to her house has a low spot that Jayden's trailer has gotten stuck and bottoms out. Each time she comes or goes, Morgan's boyfriend has to pile up dirt or put boards on the road so she could get out. It's always an adventure where this girl goes.
