6/10/14 We
discovered a kids museum in Iowa City near our hotel and spent the morning
enjoying it. The museum was perfect for the boys. They have always loved
imaginative play. This place was a hit. They started with a grocery store
stocked with every kind of play food. The items had bar codes the kids could
swipe at the checkout counter and worked on real computers. Then there was the pizza restaurant. They could make a pizza with all the toppings made of plastic and even a wood fire oven. In the restaurant, you could take orders, be a waiter and seve the food.
There was a medical center with ambulance, all kinds of medical supplies including, x-ray machine, crutches, gurnery, and the dentist office with giant teeth.
The flight simulators were awesome too. Mark and I enjoyed attempting to fly and land a plane. They even had airplane leather bomber jackets for them to wear during flight. There was the bank with play money and a teller window. So many fun things to do and my kids love to use their imagination and role play.

GOAT & KITTEN
We caught the end of Jayden's rodeo camp and got to see her make a run on barrels and poles. She is improving and has learned some things to try over the summer to help. She had a good time and was glad she went. She talked us into taking home a baby kitten that was small enough it would need a bottle and a little goat to practice tying. It was an interesting drive home with a crying kitten in the back seat and a bellaring goat in the trailer.
