It was finally time for the ceremony. Noah seated me and I gave him a hug. The couples walked down the aisle covered on animal hides to the alter covered in flowers. It was gorgeous! The sun was slowly setting and everything was so pretty. Yesterday was windy, today was perfect! The bridesmaids each got to pick their own dress in the chosen terracotta color. The colors and different styles looked just beautiful all together. The flower girl was a little shaken up and big sister had to help her down the aisle. Levi was all grins and did great walking down the aisle. The doors were opened as Mark led Jayden down the aisle. He was stern faced and she was beaming. She looked perfect in her dress with her hair all done up. I loved the back of her dress with the back open and the snug fit. Her hair with the turquoise clip looked so nice. She was smiling enough for both of them. She looked stunning, absolutely beautiful and she was radiating with happiness. She said over and over in the past few days, "I just want to be married." She wasn't concerned with all the little details, in fact she would have kept things simpler if it was entirely up to her. Ester had so many ideas, and went all out with decorations and making it a dream wedding. It was outstanding. Mark gave Jayden's hand and sat very tense next to me. Pastor Todd brought everyone's attention to the ceremony and the joining of Jayden and Noah and started with a great prayer. He was so good, sharing marriage as the love and the covenant of God. Marriage between two people like the representation of the love of God to us. The kind of love we have in marriage is an agape love, the same kind of love Jesus has for their marriage and the church. Marriage is about committing to love each other as God loves them, they are proclaiming the gospel by committing to each other as God commits to them. He gives us hope in this world. What a neat pastor they have and I hope and pray that all of the family will be able and willing to attend his church. I was so thankful for him and the message. I hope and pray that many hearing that message will have a seed planted that may turn them to Jesus in a new way. To me, having a great ceremony that focuses on God and the gospel means more than anything in a wedding celebration. Jayden and Noah had three chords that they braided representing each of them uniting with Christ. Pastor closed with a prayer bringing it all together, to pray for Jayden and Noah, not to let the world get them down. The pastor closed and reminded us all that this is a day for celebrating Jayden and Noah and not to think about or talk about the drama, but to be present and celebrate their day. It was short and sweet, no music other than the "Wildflower" song that Jayden walked down the aisle to. At the end I looked at Mark and reminded him what the pastor said and that we are here for our daughter's wedding. It didn't take long for those around me to start talking and so I just had to walk away. I pushed those thoughts in a box and stored them away for later. That night was for Jayden and Noah. It was time to celebrate and more photos were taken. And like that, Jayden and Noah were a married couple and her last name was no longer Muench. My sweet little girl is now a wife. I was a flood of emotions, but kept it all together.
