There wasnt even rain in the forecast for Monday. Mark and Tony got started on the arena, pounding posts and setting panels. The rain came in and put an end to that. Everything had been so dry and we appreciated some rain. It cooled things off, but by the weekend, the humidity was dreadful.
I went to the store a couple times this week. It is always an experience. I was near Hy-Vee and needed a few items. I had not thought twice about it and was doing my normal shopping. Halfway through the store I realized I was going against the "one way" arrows. Oops! It seems so silly to me. one way arrows are to keep people going in one direction so as not to walk and pass someone risking the spread of covid. In Ames stores, more people wear a mask than do not. I still choose not too. The boys had appointments with their orthodontist to see if braces are needed. We had to sit in the car and wait until it was ok to come inside. Nobody is allowed to wait in the waiting area and we had to have masks. As soon as we were inside, the boys took their masks off for the exams. Seems silly again. And of course we all share the public restroom in the building, yet cannot sit in the waiting room chairs.
