Riots Across the country

June 2 It has been said that  nationally, there have been widespread allegations that extremist groups or outside agitators have been behind looting and riots in cities from Seattle to Atlanta.

Washington Square Park in Manhattan on Tuesday.
Notice the sign, can you imagine a world with no police or prison? Only in heaven!

Protestors stop a rally in the intersection of E. 86th Street and East End Avenue on Tuesday, June 2, in Manhattan, New York.

As the riots continue, the larger the groups form, the more damage they cause, how and when does it stop? There are so many more people than police. The acts that are taking place are awful and there is little that can be done. I wish they could take high powered water hoses and just spray people out of the way. There has got to be something.
In the evening hours of June 2 in California, a dealership had 70 cars stolen, many others damaged. They broke into the dealership, broke into a safe with all the keys, drove showcars right out the front window and used the new cars to smash a path to get the other cars out. Nice cars, Fiats, Jeep, and Dodge Challenger Hellcats with a value of $100,000 each. The police were overwhelmed and couldn't even get there. The rioters had just ransacked a Nike store across the street cleaning the whole place out before heading to the dealership. The next morning people came with black trash bags to finish gathering what they missed. Evil upon evil, one called it domestic terrorism.

Without respect for authority and a law enforcement that doesn't want to cause more anger and hatred towards them, how does it stop? The rioters also target cops with hatred ambushes and threats. This is not going to be an easy fix.
My thoughts have run over the idea of, what if this is another antic for political reasons and to cause more damage to our country? It would make sense. The protestors for the most part started out peaceful and were having marches, vigils, and honoring George. Somewhere along the line things kept getting violent. There is proof that these groups, ANTIFA and BLM come in from out of state setting up riots and fueling the fires. When things start to get peaceful, they stir up the crowds. It has been said they are even white far left liberals. Today I read about it, just as I thought about these things.
There are people who have been literally salivating at the opportunity this has given them to keep the nation in chaos and steeped in division.
Are there bad cops? Yes! And let's root them out and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. Most of men in blue are good men... black and white! There are also bad doctors who have sexually abused children in their offices and teachers who have assaulted students! There are bad people in literally every profession. Lots of them. Can we riot over that next?
We are buying the narrative of people who literally profit from our blindness and division. This is another #metoo movement. What did that solve? Nothing! ENOUGH!
Think on this: radical feminism has totally poisoned the original intent of women's rights. We started out wanting to vote and be seen as equal to men in our everyday lives. Now, it's a shameful, embarrassing movement that hates men. I will not associate myself with the feminist movement because I see how flawed it is. In the same way, BLM is poisoning the narrative around the very real fight against the evil that is racism. It is doing more harm than good.
The same people that say men have no voice when it comes to abortion will say that white people cannot address the issue of racism.
It's a false narrative that seeks to marginalize and divide.
All our voices matter because TRUTH and healing should be the ultimate goal. When truth is reached, justice will be there. Justice honors truth, regardless of skin color.

There have been so many changes over the past 5 months. So many times I hear myself say, I never imagined or I can't believe this or this is new. I went to Target today and saw a security guard at the door. For some reason the riots that started in Minneapolis took place in a Target parking lot and the store was looted and destroyed. Now that store has become the location of many more riots, even in Des Moines. Numerous Target stores have had to close and board up their doors and windows. Now in Ames Iowa, a security guard stands watch just in case. I wonder what Ames would be like if the college students were back during this? What will the new normal be? How can we ever go back to the safe and comfortable world we took for granted?  Will there be bars on windows and guards at the doors? These are our own people, we are self destructing our own towns. What is wrong with people?

Volleyball

Jake  went with Karen after school and to the field. My mom, Luke and I went to Jayden’s  Volleyball game in Coon Rapids.  They played 4 games all losses. They were not having a good serving night and that really hurt them.  Still enjoy watching them learn.

Treasures

In the morning we took 3 of our 4 cats to the vet for shots. The 4 th cat decided to wander this morning missing his appointment. On our way out, we passed a rummage sale and stopped. We got some major treasures for next to nothing. The church ladies were so fascinated with Jacob's interest in old radios and televisions. They just adored him and marked the prices way down and gave him some for free. We loaded up on kids books, got some board games, and a few other treasures. Jake ended up with a mini  television , an old radio and Polaroid camera. After lunch the boys went straight to the field. My friend Carolyn and her daughter Tabby came to ride horses. What started out to be a chilly day 45, turned out nice and sunny. We had coats on, but it was a great day to ride. We rode through our hay patch and along the waterway near the highway. It was a great way to spend the afternoon.

Dayton Fun Show

It has been cold and windy for the past week, highs of 45. Today the sun was shinning and it got up to 60. There was one final horse show for the season at the Dayton arena. We took Jayden and Jacob while Luke went with Grammer and Po and was supposed to come later. It was a fun show geared for practice and the kids. Jake did really well on Winnie, he rode in walk and trot, barrels, and poles. He did some loping. Jayden did pleasure, milk can, barrels, poles, and a jumping event. Her horse Tex really jumps high for the jump event. Down in the arena, there was'nt any wind and the sun came out. It made for a nice day.
