30 days of isolation, 30 days without events or activities. 30 days without seeing any friends or being around people. I am doing ok with this change, but I don't really like it. I think I am a little introverted and a little extroverted. I do enjoy quiet time and like to have peace in my schedule. I like to be home with family and not having to be somewhere all the time. Yet, the extrovert likes to socialize and be with friends.
After school and lunch, Jayden took Luke to pick up his little motorcycle that needed a new tire. The motorcycle was Jake's that he got when he turned 13. I took Jake with me to get groceries. We ordered Mexican and ate it in the car. It had been a couple weeks since I had been to Fareway. There were a handful of people wearing masks, and only a dozen customers in the store. It felt different from the last time. I could feel eyes on me because I had Jake in the store with me. I felt a sense of "shame on you" having a kid with me. I had Jake shop grandmas' list with his own cart. There were more signs this time, signs about wearing masks, signs of social distancing yourself, signs of where to wait at the checkout counter, and signs about shopping only once a week and getting only what you need. I don't like shopping anymore.
In the evening, we played the game of Life for awhile. We all needed a break from tv. Mark gets so tired and is always in bed around 9/10:00. My bedtime is 10:30/11. I stayed up and had long talks with Jayden in her room. I know she will be leaving us soon for Alva so want to have some good chats. I had her paint my toes and we went to bed 11:30. We are in the great pause of 2020
