Jayden is dating a boy that goes by the name Shark. I hope to meet him the next time I visit. They just started "talking" after Thanksgiving, had two weeks college break, then they each went home for a month. They left for the semester without even saying goodbye and didn't communicate much over Christmas break. I am not sure if they are considered dating, boyfreind/girlfreind, or what? This is all new to her and to me.
After break, they get together for lunch or dinner often. Either he cooks or they cook together. Jayden is figuring out grocery shopping and making meals. She has a lot to learn. She is making hamburger helper, makes survival food often, such as a frozen chicken patty or eats ramen noodles. Living on her own without a food plan has forced her to figure it out. She does eat out quite often. Shark has met her between classes for lunch or sometimes they would eat breakfast after his football workouts. He has even taught her how to prepare deer. She likes him, he is good to her and likes to spend time with her. He took her to the sand dunes and she really liked that. He has a few atv and dune buggy's. He drove crazy fast and she thought it was frightening, yet fun. Shark was surprised that she wasn't terrified. He is a good looking, muscular football player who has a lot of nice big fancy trucks. His family owns and operates an exotic animal hunting ranch. They are both new at the relationship/dating/boyfreind/girlfreind thing so I think that makes it hard. I think communication is their biggest trouble. They both are so busy and involved in their classes, and sports, that they don't spend a ton of time together, but he likes to see her as often as he can. He still hasn't taken her on a real date. I consider making plans, taking a girl to a restaurant and paying to be a real date. What is the deal with these modern boys anyway?
