More Magic

Today we headed back to Magic Kingdom for a second round and to hit all the attractions we didn’t get to the first day. We got a fast pass for the Under the Sea ride. That is the newest and most popular attraction in fantasyland and has only been open since December. Later in the day we returned with our fast pass and had a very short wait. It was a neat ride that went right along with the movie. We went to Tommorw land and split up. Mark went on his space mountain ride in the pitch dark. He said the ride was crazy, he felt like he was being jerked around and could fall out of his seat.  The kids and I went on the Buzz Light Year ride two times in a row.  Back with Daddy, we all rode the Carousel of progress and the transit. The kids were very impressed with the Carousel of progress, it is one of the oldest rides, you sit and the room rotates in a circle as they go through different decades.Luke, being the Pluto fan, wore his new Pluto shirt today and looked pretty cute.
Today our lunch reservations were at the Crystal Palace. This was the best place we ate the whole week. It is located at the end of main street and has all the Pooh charcters. We had a buffet, so all the food you could want, and very good food!! As we sat and ate, one at a time the characters came to pour table to greet us and pose for photos.
Next the big kids and I rode Thunder mountain while Mark and Luke waited. We all went through the Swiss Family Tree. At this point Mark left to go back with the boys to swim and Jayden and I continued through the park. We saw the fake Tiki bird show that was kind of corny. We went to the Phillharmagic 3-D show and Monsters Inc lagh show. Jayde has been trading her pins all week. Today she traded for a Minnie Mouse pin that said “World’s Best Mom” and gave it to me.  Back at the resort, the boys were swimming with Dad. Jayden and I took advantage of the hammocks near the pool for a moment of  relaxation time. wE had a quiet night in, ate at the food court, played 1 arcade game per kid, and tried to go to bed earleir than 10:30PM. All the busy days were starting to wear on us, everyone was getting tired.

Volleyball

Jake  went with Karen after school and to the field. My mom, Luke and I went to Jayden’s  Volleyball game in Coon Rapids.  They played 4 games all losses. They were not having a good serving night and that really hurt them.  Still enjoy watching them learn.

Treasures

In the morning we took 3 of our 4 cats to the vet for shots. The 4 th cat decided to wander this morning missing his appointment. On our way out, we passed a rummage sale and stopped. We got some major treasures for next to nothing. The church ladies were so fascinated with Jacob's interest in old radios and televisions. They just adored him and marked the prices way down and gave him some for free. We loaded up on kids books, got some board games, and a few other treasures. Jake ended up with a mini  television , an old radio and Polaroid camera. After lunch the boys went straight to the field. My friend Carolyn and her daughter Tabby came to ride horses. What started out to be a chilly day 45, turned out nice and sunny. We had coats on, but it was a great day to ride. We rode through our hay patch and along the waterway near the highway. It was a great way to spend the afternoon.

Dayton Fun Show

It has been cold and windy for the past week, highs of 45. Today the sun was shinning and it got up to 60. There was one final horse show for the season at the Dayton arena. We took Jayden and Jacob while Luke went with Grammer and Po and was supposed to come later. It was a fun show geared for practice and the kids. Jake did really well on Winnie, he rode in walk and trot, barrels, and poles. He did some loping. Jayden did pleasure, milk can, barrels, poles, and a jumping event. Her horse Tex really jumps high for the jump event. Down in the arena, there was'nt any wind and the sun came out. It made for a nice day.
