We got back to the resort for an afternoon break
at 4, much later than we planned. The kids wanted to go to the pool so bad. The
adults, including grandma and grandpa took a rest on the poolside chairs- this
way everybody was happy. We headed back to Magic Kingdom for dinner at 6. We
ate at one of Mark’s favorites, The Liberty Tree Tavern. They feed you tons of
food family style. It was some good eatins. From there Dad and Mark went to the
Hall of Presidents, and Mom, kids, and I went to the Bear Jamboree. By this time it was very dark and people were
lining up for the big “Wishes” light display on the castle. It was pretty
awesome. They had all kinds of things displayed across the castle and finished with
a fireworks display. After that, we all gave Grandma and Grandpa goodbye hugs
as they continued their trip throughout Florida for 2 more weeks. It was a
special day that the kids and grandparents could cherish together. As the crowd
parted the park, we went through the gift shop so Luke could pick out his
Pluto. He has been talking about getting his giant Pluto long before the trip.
He wanted to get him right away so he could sleep with him all week. It didn’t
take long to find him and Luke was so excited. He loved on that Pluto all night
and didn’t stop smiling. Jake found himself a Disney toy bus and was a happy
camper too. Jayden got herself a Minnie Mouse too. We sat awhile to let the mob of people thin. Then we waited in the bus line for our resort. The buses are so handy.
Back at the room it was after 10 and we were exhausted. Tomorrow would be another early morning and busy day. Our hotel room was ideal for our family. Luke had his very own pull down loft bed. He slept well with his pluto.
