Reflecting on the vaccine

The covid pandemic blow up across the globe created fear and anxiety and the government took complete advantage of it, as did pharmaceutical companies. Closing businesses, having lockdowns, mandating masks and vaccines, and pushing people to do things out of fear resulted. Our individual freedoms were taken away while being forced to comply. There was little to no individual choice in most cases. I am grateful and thankful that we live in Iowa, that we didn't have a governor or employer forcing these mandates on us. Mark never stopped working one day during the pandemic. His employees showed up every day to work. I never put a mask on my face until it was required and as soon as I walked out of that medical clinic, Target, or restaurant, it came off. Here we are a year and a half later and I still see random people walking down the sidewalk, driving in a car, and going into businesses with a mask on. I feel sorry for these people that have been driven to such anxiety. I had little trust in a government pushing a vaccine and was not about to jump in line. First there was the shot, then a booster, then another and another. They say 4 shots were recommended. So if we are vaccinating, why are people who have been vaccinated getting sick, having covid, and spreading covid? And so I have to wonder what exactly is the purpose of vaccinating? Apparently they claim that with a vaccination, you are not going to get as sick. And how exactly do we prove that? People are still getting sick that are vaccinated and there are many who got sick that were not vaccinated and had mild to no symptoms, I am one of those. So how does one compare the level of sickness of a vaccinated person versus an unvaccinated person? Those that were positive and had little to no symptoms are rarely documented, and is the vast majority. From a science perspective, once you have had the sickness and are exposed again, whether vaccinated or not, your symptoms should be milder. My in-laws got sick the first time and were very ill. They ended up getting their vaccine and got covid once again. The second time the symptoms were milder and they came shortly after they received the vaccine. There is a good chance the second time was from the vaccine itself. Our neighbor got her 4th vaccination and a week later came down with covid for the first time. There are people that get hospitalized and people that die that were vaccinated. The covid symptoms vary for everyone, some never have a symptom, some mild, some extreme, and some die. The deaths usually have some underlying condition, but not necessarily. The longer the vaccine is in the environment circulating, everyone will be exposed over and over again and they will become immune. In my opinion your bodies natural ability to build up immunity and having had it once is a better booster than anything that comes out of a lab! Vaccinating makes me angry and it makes me question the health industry. I will not be getting my vaccine and I am thankful for that. Mark was on the verge. His doctors had been pushing it at every visit. He asked me for my opinion and I told him it was his choice and his alone, but I would not be getting mine. He went to the pharmacy to get it one day and found out he had to have an appointment and never go back. Non-elderly healthy people are not at risk and therefore the vaccine is silly. They came out with vaccines pushing it on young adults, then teens, and now they want to give it to babies?!No way! Because of this, it has caused me to lose trust in the health industry and this is the first year in maybe 15 years I have not gotten a flu shot. I probably won't again and I don't trust the pharmaceutical companies. They prey on illnesses and making millions off innocent people. Fauci is highly invested in the pharmaceutical companies, how does that make a person feel? The side effects, the complications, the 5 years down the road effects are going to come out. They are hiding things as much as they can, but it's not good. The vaccine actually alters your mRNA. There are issues with females fertility and menstral cycles, heart inflammation, blood clotting, and long term covid symptoms. They will continue to hide it, disguise it, and deny it. Once again I am thankful for living in Iowa, being surrounded by like minded people and family. All our close family and relatives met and gathered for weddings, graduations, and family events throughout 2020 and without masks. We all shared the common ground and didn't let it consume us or lose our minds over it. Maybe Thanksgiving 2020 our family gathering spread covid around, but we all survived. I know there are families who missed out on gatherings, seeing relatives, visiting grandparents, going on trips, going to school, being in sports, etc. People had to wear masks on the job day in and day out. It gave me anxiety, made me angry, and made it hard to breathe and I only put a mask on to get my groceries a couple hours a week. Some had good jobs they couldn't leave and were forced to get vaccinated. What an awful thing to force on someone. Recently Covid has been going around our area, I hear on a weekly basis someone I know testing positive for covid. The funny thing is when that person tests positive they were most likely at work or in a group. Nobody else gets covid, none of the family or people around them. It is the most random illness with the most random symptoms and affects people at the most random times. It can go away anytime. It will take awhile for people to realize it is just like staying home with a cold. We put the fear factor in the word covid and it's getting old. Individual choice and personal responsibility is our freedom, when that is taken away, its hard to trust. It's time to let people decide for themselves what is best for their health.             This is just crazy There was a parade in one of the big national televised parades. This float was promoting vaccines "Vaccinate our world". Seems so twisted to me. One day we will look back at the photo of the float and laugh out loud, o wait, I already am. This is ridiculous!

One day I was at the pharmacy picking up my prescription and I saw a women in her 50's ask the pharmacist when the next covid booster would be available. Then She told the pharmacist that she needed to schedule her work around it because she always gets very ill from receiving the vaccine and has to take a week or two off. I was stunned. First, why are we still giving boosters for s vaccine that doesn't prevent covid? Second, she probably would be just fine, gotten less sick, or maybe even had no symptoms whatsoever, had she not gotten a vaccine at all. And third, you are better of to be exposed and let your body build natural immunity. Just saying. Wake up people!

Volleyball

Jake  went with Karen after school and to the field. My mom, Luke and I went to Jayden’s  Volleyball game in Coon Rapids.  They played 4 games all losses. They were not having a good serving night and that really hurt them.  Still enjoy watching them learn.

Treasures

In the morning we took 3 of our 4 cats to the vet for shots. The 4 th cat decided to wander this morning missing his appointment. On our way out, we passed a rummage sale and stopped. We got some major treasures for next to nothing. The church ladies were so fascinated with Jacob's interest in old radios and televisions. They just adored him and marked the prices way down and gave him some for free. We loaded up on kids books, got some board games, and a few other treasures. Jake ended up with a mini  television , an old radio and Polaroid camera. After lunch the boys went straight to the field. My friend Carolyn and her daughter Tabby came to ride horses. What started out to be a chilly day 45, turned out nice and sunny. We had coats on, but it was a great day to ride. We rode through our hay patch and along the waterway near the highway. It was a great way to spend the afternoon.

Dayton Fun Show

It has been cold and windy for the past week, highs of 45. Today the sun was shinning and it got up to 60. There was one final horse show for the season at the Dayton arena. We took Jayden and Jacob while Luke went with Grammer and Po and was supposed to come later. It was a fun show geared for practice and the kids. Jake did really well on Winnie, he rode in walk and trot, barrels, and poles. He did some loping. Jayden did pleasure, milk can, barrels, poles, and a jumping event. Her horse Tex really jumps high for the jump event. Down in the arena, there was'nt any wind and the sun came out. It made for a nice day.
