Thanksgiving

This year for the first time since Mark and I have been married, the Muench side planned Thanksgiving on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. With that, Lori still wanted to do a meal on Thanksgiving day and invited our family. It was really nice to have that time at her house with her family and such a small gathering. It seemed very personal and it was nice conversation, quiet, and calm.  On Saturday, we drove with Karen and Orrie over 2 hours to Kallie Mae's home. She was happy to host  and boast of the new home. Her and her husband just built a large roomy home. We all got the grand tour and it is a great home! It was fun to gather all the family in such a big space. We all ate in the garage and had lots of great food. There were little kids and lots of babies everywhere. Kallie has a little boy ncamed Colt, the same name Jayden picked. Only a handful of people knew the name and Grandpa M (Po) was one of them. It was to remain top secret. Grandpa thought it would be fun to tel

Fur Babies

Just a few photos of some of our fur babies this fall.

JMO That's Important To Me

A few things that we did in our home while raising our kids that were important and helpful to me to the upbringing of our kids. Attending church weekly. I want to church to be a priority and feel like you were really missing something when you couldn't make it to church. Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy. If it were up t me, we would never work on Sundays. We prayed with our kids every night and tucked them in with hugs, kisses, and I love yous.  We had supper together at the dinner table as a family. We sat together, prayed, ate our meal, talked, and cleared the table when done.  Mark and I  had a very small 12' television with 3 channels, basically to watch the news and weather before bed in our bedroom and tune in during a storm if needed. We did not allow the kids to have television in their bedrooms. We did not want them spending all their free time on tv.  We did not want them spending time alone in their rooms behind closed doors. We watched family friendly televi

FFA and HS

Luke has been very active in his FFA chapter and has plans to one day be president. He enjoys the activities and has always been a good leader. He is going to try for an officer position this year. It is more involved than an officer in 4H.  Luke attended some of the home basketball games and made the paper.

35 Weeks Jayden

Jayden has made it to 35 weeks, she is one week from being considered full term. Of course 40 weeks is full term, but 36 weeks and over is no longer in the premature range. So thankful she is doing well and baby is staying put and growing. Praise God for the new life growing inside, we can't wait to meet him! Jayden hasn't slowed much. She works daily making and taking on orders. She is sending invoices, packing, and shipping all the time. Some days she has her assistants help her. She has two gals that she hired to come a day or two at a time. I think Jayden should slow down, but she likes to be busy rather than be bored. She has been so entertained by her squeaky little kitten she calls, "Nugget". She got her a few days before her birthday. Noah found her at the shop and it was always climbing on his lap. She has been a good little companion and loves to sit on Jayden's chest and curl up by her side. She has a squeaky scratchy meow. The house is coming along! T

Po turned 80

This year Orrie celebrated his 80th birthday. Karen had the family over to the house for a party. Mark had an extra big surprise waiting for his dad. He ordered hi his very own Can Am Atv. He likes to be out and about and cruise through the fields and see all that's going on. A Can am is equipped for all terrain and its handy. He was surprised and excited for his new wheels.

Purdy Impressive

11/14/23 Yes, I am kind of a big fan! It's funny how I never paid any attention to NFL, and would watch the Super bowl game not even knowing what teams were playing . As the season has gone on, I have gotten familiar with more of the 49ers team players and watch the post game talks. Purdy is of course awesome and I just love watching him play.  He is already breaking lots of records. If he didn't play well from this point on, I would still be the biggest fan. It's crazy to me how quickly people go from being a big fan to being a hater and just ripping on him. The 49ers lost 3 games in a row. Purdy threw 3 interceptions during that time and the fans turned on him. I had faith and confidence in him and I didn't care if he messed up or lost all the remaining games, the guy has been awesome and wears his faith on his sleeve.  Purdy has such an eye for where to throw and he makes amazing passes. This past weekend the Niners played the Jaguars and won 34-3. Wow what a game an

Muench Ag Merch

One of the things Mark asked of  was come up with a new shirt design for our business. I also got to pick out and order work shirts, sweaters, vests, and jackets. We should be well stocked for a long time!

Happy Birthday #20 Jake

My little Jake is no longer a teenager, he is 20. He is a man and the past year he has really grown and there isn't any little boy left. He is all grown up. To celebrate we met the grandparents, our family, and cousin Ry at Red Lobster, Jake's pick. He got the biggest platter on the menu with all his favorites, lobster, shrimp, and scallops. Afterward, we went bowling. Jake was off to a rough start and Luke was spot on with the most perfect straight down the line strike after strike. Luke had no strategy, but he kept rolling strikes. I like the boy's names on the scoreboard,(Lukers, Jakers, RyRy) still kids at heart. It was a fun time and I was glad to be included.
