So In Your Face

THe LGBQTL- I don't know what all the letters stand for, but I know it has to do with gays. Jayden took a class at Iowa State and they claim there are 52 genders. I recall male or female, you were created, formed in your mothers womb with either one genitalia or the other. There really is no question what a person is, God created man and woman. Right now all this transgender gay pride stuff is really being pushed in our faces.  Lately it has been front and center everywhere you look. This morning I opened my Google homepage, which is my home screen I see everyday and there it is Google all sprawled out in rainbow with a video in celebration of gay pride. Just when did the rainbow get taken over completely to represent gays? The rainbow was stolen by the gay pride movement and it is everywhere. They have taken a biblical symbol of a promise God gave us and turned it into a representation of a sin. It is so degrading. Yesterday I opened my website to Shutterfly, where I like to order my photos.  Front and center was two men with a little boy on a greeting card that said "Best Dad's ever Happy Father's Day". Target has its own display with a giant rainbow and the word Pride. They have all kinds of merchandise you can purchase now with rainbows on it that proceeds go to support their group. Sunday I got a team snapchat message from Snapchat with a rainbow and a heart and the message "Love is Love". That is a gay quote. Evidently it is gay pride month and I have never seen so much gay and it is only the 4th day of the month. I see it downtown Ames when I take Luke to his guitar and taekwondo. There are rainbow flags in downtown churches and they are not representing the flood. There are rainbows in every store front inviting and welcoming all into their stores.
Homosexuality is a sin no matter how you try to justify it. Right now it is being glorified and the culture is taking it to a whole new level with transgender. It is hard not to get angry. I realize it is the work of satan and we can't focus on what satan is doing in our world, but to focus on God and the work he has already done. He sent Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. It is for us to accept him and to recognize our sin, repent and turn from that sin. Gay is a sin, there is not doubt. How long will it take this country to recognize that again. We are blinded by entitlement, fairness, and rights. The truth is pride is a sin and so is being gay. It is giving way to lust and sexual desires that are not natural. Without the truth of God, people rely on man's word, opinion, emotions, evilness. We are seeing it more and more day after day. Media has taken it and spread it even larger. One day we will all look back on the past and wonder how on earth did we ever get pulled into all these lies. Who ever thought this was right and ok?

Volleyball

Jake  went with Karen after school and to the field. My mom, Luke and I went to Jayden’s  Volleyball game in Coon Rapids.  They played 4 games all losses. They were not having a good serving night and that really hurt them.  Still enjoy watching them learn.

Treasures

In the morning we took 3 of our 4 cats to the vet for shots. The 4 th cat decided to wander this morning missing his appointment. On our way out, we passed a rummage sale and stopped. We got some major treasures for next to nothing. The church ladies were so fascinated with Jacob's interest in old radios and televisions. They just adored him and marked the prices way down and gave him some for free. We loaded up on kids books, got some board games, and a few other treasures. Jake ended up with a mini  television , an old radio and Polaroid camera. After lunch the boys went straight to the field. My friend Carolyn and her daughter Tabby came to ride horses. What started out to be a chilly day 45, turned out nice and sunny. We had coats on, but it was a great day to ride. We rode through our hay patch and along the waterway near the highway. It was a great way to spend the afternoon.

Dayton Fun Show

It has been cold and windy for the past week, highs of 45. Today the sun was shinning and it got up to 60. There was one final horse show for the season at the Dayton arena. We took Jayden and Jacob while Luke went with Grammer and Po and was supposed to come later. It was a fun show geared for practice and the kids. Jake did really well on Winnie, he rode in walk and trot, barrels, and poles. He did some loping. Jayden did pleasure, milk can, barrels, poles, and a jumping event. Her horse Tex really jumps high for the jump event. Down in the arena, there was'nt any wind and the sun came out. It made for a nice day.
