11/5/15 Today Jayden had her sweet sixteenth birthday. Wow, where have the years gone. She has grown up into an amazing young lady. On this day we celebrated in the morning by decorating her bedroom door with streamers and opening gifts. Some of her gift were pop up barrels and a frame with her recent photo from a photo session with Ace. ( Roses came the next day) She was very specific about no cake. She has never been a big cake fan and said all she wanted was donuts for breakfast, so we did. Since it was her birthday she got to sleep in and skip school. In the evening, we had Grandparents come for a little birthday party. Mawgee came early but had to leave to paint. She sent cupcakes enough to form the number 16, It was a nice day near 68.
At one point in the evening we were all wondering where Jake went and started to worry. Turns out he had taken the 4 wheeler out along the waterway and gotten stuck. He was half a mile from the house, walked to the house and tried to get the gator and a rope to pull it out. He ended up walking back out to the 4 wheeler again. All of this he was doing on his own so he wouldn't get into trouble. We were glad that Jake did not get hurt, however we were upset that he did not call or come get help. He got grounded for a month from his 4 wheeler, not for getting stuck, but for trying to hide it and not telling us where he was and what he was doing. HOpefully he learned from it.
