Mark watches the tv all day long hoping and praying for rain. He sees other states getting rain and watches the radar. Today we had a chance, one little chance in the hot dry forecast for the week. The day came and went without rain. Mark is getting nervous and worried more each day. He thought he could pull off a 150 bushel crop, now he is seeing that number going down. Today he had a crop duster spray for root rot. If we do have a crop the spray was necessary. Mark covers every aspect of farming and purchased drought insurance, if we do not have a crop, our insurance will save us. Those farmer's without are going to really be hurting. This photo of Jayden and her horse shows how burnt our grass is.
