Easter morning the kids were up around 8 looking for eggs in the living room. Jake wake up a little bummed and it took him awhile to get excited. The night before he was asking a lot of questions about the Easter bunny and insisted he know the truth. Luke was so excited to find his eggs. The kids each had a clue and had a lego set hiding for them. After breakfast and candy eating, we went to the church in Stratford for a service celebration of the resurrection of our savior Jesus. We have been talking to the kids a lot about Christ dying for our sins. Luke has a palm leaf he made and sings Hosanna, blessed is He show comes in the name of the Lord". It is pretty cute to hear him say it. The kids were all dressed in there Sunday best, Luke and Mark were even matching. After church we went to Karen and Orrie's for dinner. The original plan was to have an outdoor picnic at the park, it was much too windy for that.
The kids made there way out in the wind for some baseball. Jacob had his first baseball game and he went away mad and crying because he wasn't sure what he was supposed to be doing. At the same time he talked non-stop the rest of the day about how he liked baseball and it is his new favorite sport. I then loaded the boys up, Jayden was having too much fun with her cousins to leave, and I headed to my parents. Aunt Alice was back from Albuquerque and this was our first time to see her. It was so nice to see her and have her back home. Dad grilled some burgers and we had dinner. Later the boys and Alivia went outside with Grandpa. Luke likes to follow and do whatever Alivia does. Jake informed me that Alivia took Luke in the horse pen. Jake gets upset when he tells her not to do something and she just yells at him. She also threw dirt in his face. It really upsets Jake and I can't blame him. I was out with the kids for a short time and was surprised at how fast Alivia can get into trouble, throwing big rocks, climbing on equipment, and telling everyone she can do it because she is older. She is a handful.
