Can This World Get Any Crazier?

Can This world get any crazier? Have they lost their ever loving minds?

4/20/22 People crossing into the USA illegally is now the highest it has been in two decades. Nearly 220,000 migrants have crossed the border with the help of smugglers during the month of March. Biden plans to lift the Trump-era Covid restriction Title 42, which will further increase the numbers. There is an all time high of the nearly 2 million illegal border crossers so far this year, 300,000 went around border patrol security and slipped into the shadows while officers were tending to the migrant families, unaccompanied children, and single men.

3/25/22 CBN News reports, -A California high school has started a "transition" closet to help teenagers hide their gender experimentation efforts from their parents. The school will provide clothing for transgender, non-binary, and gender exploring youth to change their outfits to match their preferred gender identity to make them feel more comfortable.

2/18/22 Parents from coast to coast are fighting school districts on everything from Critical Race Theory to mask mandates in classrooms. Backlash is also growing over sexually explicit content now available to children as young as kindergarten. Parents who first started packing school board meetings to re-open schools are focusing on books with explicit and obscene content.  "I think it's been hidden from a lot of parents. The shutdown has allowed parents to actually see and hear some of the content that was being discussed in classrooms," said Amy Jahr, a mother in Loudoun County, Virginia. SC Gov Orders Investigation of All School Libraries After 'Gender Queer' Book Found with 'Pornographic' Images Loudoun County to Remove Graphic Gender Identity Book from School Libraries This New Pro-LGBT Resource Teaches School Kids There are 'Over 100 Gender Identities'Book Portraying Pedophilia Found in Public School Librarie.s After 2 Groups Say It's Essential for Kids That content in question includes sexually explicit books like Gender Queer, which is a recipient of an American Library Award.  "It's a story of my own life about coming out as queer and non-binary and asexual," said author during a recent media interview.  The story contains graphic text and illustrations depicting men having intercourse, children engaged in sexual acts, pedophilia, and the sexual fantasies of the then 14-year-old author.   "They basically want to normalize the abnormal, right? Any idea of sexual boundaries, any right, and wrong morality, they want those knocked down,"

2/1/22 Babies as young as 6-months-old may soon be able to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Pfizer is expected to submit data to the FDA for emergency use. If all falls into place, parents who have been anxiously waiting to vaccinate their kids will be able to do so. However, some are questioning the move, given that children tend to have less severe symptoms. CDC leaders feel the 85 million kids who've texted positive and 700 deaths are reason enough. Let me just do a little math, that ends up being .000824% chance of dying of covid.

2/1/22 An Illinois attorney general says he supports parents who want to protest an after-school Satan Club at a local elementary school. A flyer circulating on social media invited first through fifth-grade students to the "After-School Satan Club" hosted at Donovan Elementary School. The group held its first meeting on Jan. 27 and plans to meet once a month through the spring semester. Earlier in January, parents expressed concern to the school about the club but were discouraged from protesting.

1/22/22 Apparently there are kids in high schools that identify as cats.  It is speculated that these kids were simply doing this for attention....and the parents of the girl are now insisting that the district make a litterbox available to her in the girls restroom. Apparently, there is a boy is being guided through the school with a leash and collar on. They are (not surprisingly) the subjects of great bullying. These kids either are pushing this as an extreme way of getting attention and are willing to take the abuse.....OR they are seriously mentally ill and need help in the worst way. My fear is that it is the latter and we are simply trying to "Normalize" mental illness....which is both criminal and heartbreaking at the same time. The parents (either way) should be held accountable. "Apparently, from what I understand, they’re called 'furries,'" They identify with animals. These people will hiss at you or scratch at you if they don’t like something you’re doing."

Volleyball

Jake  went with Karen after school and to the field. My mom, Luke and I went to Jayden’s  Volleyball game in Coon Rapids.  They played 4 games all losses. They were not having a good serving night and that really hurt them.  Still enjoy watching them learn.

Treasures

In the morning we took 3 of our 4 cats to the vet for shots. The 4 th cat decided to wander this morning missing his appointment. On our way out, we passed a rummage sale and stopped. We got some major treasures for next to nothing. The church ladies were so fascinated with Jacob's interest in old radios and televisions. They just adored him and marked the prices way down and gave him some for free. We loaded up on kids books, got some board games, and a few other treasures. Jake ended up with a mini  television , an old radio and Polaroid camera. After lunch the boys went straight to the field. My friend Carolyn and her daughter Tabby came to ride horses. What started out to be a chilly day 45, turned out nice and sunny. We had coats on, but it was a great day to ride. We rode through our hay patch and along the waterway near the highway. It was a great way to spend the afternoon.

Dayton Fun Show

It has been cold and windy for the past week, highs of 45. Today the sun was shinning and it got up to 60. There was one final horse show for the season at the Dayton arena. We took Jayden and Jacob while Luke went with Grammer and Po and was supposed to come later. It was a fun show geared for practice and the kids. Jake did really well on Winnie, he rode in walk and trot, barrels, and poles. He did some loping. Jayden did pleasure, milk can, barrels, poles, and a jumping event. Her horse Tex really jumps high for the jump event. Down in the arena, there was'nt any wind and the sun came out. It made for a nice day.
