Can This World Get Any Crazier?

Can This world get any crazier? Have they lost their ever loving minds? 4/20/22 People crossing into the USA illegally is now the highest it has been in two decades. Nearly 220,000 migrants have crossed the border with the help of smugglers during the month of March. Biden plans to lift the Trump-era Covid restriction Title 42, which will further increase the numbers. There is an all time high of the nearly 2 million illegal border crossers so far this year, 300,000 went around border patrol security and slipped into the shadows while officers were tending to the migrant families, unaccompanied children, and single men. 3/25/22 CBN News reports, -A California high school has started a "transition" closet to help teenagers hide their gender experimentation efforts from their parents. The school will provide clothing for transgender, non-binary, and gender exploring youth to change their outfits to match their preferred gender identity to make them feel more comfortable.  2/18

Trucker protest & Dicatatorship

Taken from FOX News 2/7/22 Following the example of the thousands of Canadian truckers protesting COVID-19 vaccine mandates in the capital of Ottawa, truckers in other countries have begun organizing their own versions of the "Freedom Convoy."  From Leeuwarden in the Netherlands to Wellington, New Zealand, to London to Canberra, Australia, truckers are hitting the road to send a clear message: stop the mandates. Another group of truckers is planning a protest in the United States, driving to the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. "I think you’re starting to see what will become a big global movement to end these mandates, "It’s a violation of your human rights to be mandated to take this vaccine." Brase told Fox News Digital that the U.S. trucker effort was "just shy of 140,000 people when Facebook dropped us." On Feb. 2, Facebook removed a Facebook page called "Convoy to D.C. 2022." A spokesperson for Facebook's parent company, Meta, tol

Family Photos & Baby Layce

While Ali was having family photos taekn, Karen got a call and made the announcement that Jossie had her baby girl. She named her Layce Jossylyn. We are so excited for Jossie and Zach. Abby took photos of Ali's family, here are the photos she took. No smiles from Titus today, but she got some with him looking into the camera. 3 month olds are hard to photograph.

Pets

Here are a few pet photos. The fluffy dog is Karen and Orrie's dog Bernard. He has grown into a huge dog with lots of fur. I think he is a cool looking dog, an accidental cross between an Australian Shepherd and a Great Pyrenes belonging to Abby. On cold wintery days the dogs linger in the window with puppy dog eyes making us feel so guilty inside our warm toasty home. Our cats like to hang out in the warm hay barn. WallE and Bandit look so much alike, sometimes it's hard to tell them apart.

Valentine

We were back home on Valentine's day and both Mark and I agreed that our trip covered Valentine's day. To my surprise, Jake came home from class with a little flower plant and told me Happy Valentine's day. I thought that was so super sweet. Jake is a very thoughtful and kind hearted young man. Today he warmed my heart and made my day. He's going to make a good husband to a special girl someday.  Jayden got her first Valentine flowers too-finally!

Florida

Florida in February is our winter getaway and this year we chose Sanibel. Our good friends wanted to winter vacation with us as well, so we met Dan, Angelia, and 6 year old Abigail in FL. The boys stayed home for a quiet week of school, chores, eating with Grammer and Po. I like taking our kids on trips ,but I enjoy the couple trips too. We flew out on Saturday and arrived in the middle of the afternoon. It was overcast and fairly warm when we arrived. After an hour drive to the hotel, the sun came up so we could see a lovely sunset. We checked into our Marriott hotel room, then went to the hotel restaurant outdoor seating and watched the sunset with our friends. I was very chilly in the air condition building and it took me awhile to get used to it. The hotel was beautiful. In 2017 our family stayed in the condos right next door. I recall taking a walk through the Marriott back then. The Hotel was beautiful, the view was amazing, and the property was peaceful and beautiful. I loved
